Are the Wild Blue vacuums free?

Yes! We offer 16-18 self-serve vacuum stations at both of our locations that are complimentary. Simply pull into a vacuum stall, pull out the vacuum hose and away you go.  As a courtesy to others, please keep your stay in the vacuum area to less than 15 minutes.

Do you provide any interior detailing?

We do not offer interior detailing for your car. We are an express, exterior car wash. We focus on giving our guests a chance to take a break from their busy day while enjoying a fast and inexpensive car wash every time. We provide free self-serve vacuums, and you can also purchase dashboard towels, wet towels, and air fresheners at your convenience at one of our vending machines.

Do I stay inside my car?

Yes, you don’t get out of your car at Wild Blue Car Wash. Our automated conveyor system allows you to stay inside your vehicle throughout the entire process. You can choose your wash and make your payment at our automated attendant so you never have to leave your driver’s seat.

Why do you use automatic pay stations?

Automatic pay stations are a convenient experience for our customers. If you are not sure how to use our pay stations, let one of our attendants know and we will be happy to show you. Simply press the help button at the pay station and someone will assist you.

Do you take credit cards?

We accept all major credit and debit cards in addition to cash.

Will the cloth in the wash scratch my car?

Absolutely not! Car wash cloth technology has come a long way. Our soft cloth utilizes felt cloth technology that “polishes” your car as it washes it. New car manufacturers use this same high-quality cloth to clean cars fresh off the assembly line before they are wrapped and shipped. The cloth has such a small nap that it can’t hold any dirt or debris. Wild Blue Car Wash works diligently to insure that the cleaning experience is as safe as possible.

Are there vehicle restrictions for your car wash tunnel?

Vehicles that will not fit in the car wash tunnel include double axel trucks, (dualies and vehicles taller than 7’1″). We also ask ladder racks hanging over the front to not enter the tunnel. Tires wider than 12.5″ will not fit on the conveyer belt. We ask that pickup beds be clean and free from items and debris. Ford Raptor Trucks are not permitted in the wash as their wheel base is too wide.

Will my windshield crack in extreme temperatures?

Unless there is a defect in the glass, your windshield will not crack when going through the wash on an extremely hot or cold day.  If your windshield has also been previously damaged by a rock, then this could cause it to crack when going through the wash.

Do you close on bad weather days?

Our staff is usually always on site, however, when temperatures are below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, we may have to close. Please remember, if you wash your car in temperatures that are below freezing, your doors and windows may freeze shut.

What is Magnesium chloride?

Magnesium chloride or “Mag Chloride” is a salt compound that is pre-applied to the road during snow events in Colorado Springs to prevent icing. If magnesium chloride is left on your car for too long, it can cause wiring corrosion and rust. It is a smart idea to wash your car after snow storms.

Are you a franchise?

No. We are a locally owned and operated car wash by Colorado residents.

Do you recycle your water?

We do recycle 80 percent of our water through our re-claim system. Also, we only use 20 gallons of fresh water per wash, compared to a home wash which typically uses more than three times as much water!

How often should I wash/wax my vehicle?

Wash frequency really depends on the climate and environment that you live in. In Colorado, it is important to wash frequently enough to remove pollutants from rain, dead bugs, magnesium chloride, etc. Additionally, the more you wash, the more you should wax your car.
